7-Eleven is releasing a new, limited-edition flavor of Gatorade Thirst Quencher at its stores nationwide. The new flavor, Midnight Ice, marks the first time Gatorade will be offered in a midnight-inspired color. Midnight Ice will be available exclusively in 28-ounce bottles at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores.

“We can't wait for our customers to get their hands on this new limited-edition flavor with Gatorade. The Midnight Ice Thirst Quencher is perfect for our shoppers who want to support their athletic performance ability without sacrificing great taste,” said Dennis Phelps, senior vice president, merchandising (vault and proprietary beverages) at 7-Eleven.

According to a company release, the Midnight Ice flavor will be easily spotted on shelves with “reimagined packaging featuring an icy lightning bolt set against a nightfall color palette.”

In April, 7-Eleven announced that the Mango Splash flavor of Zoa Energy would be available only at the retailer.

For a limited time, customers can get two bottles of Gatorade Thirst Quencher Midnight Ice for $5, while 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can get 3 for $6.

Circle K recently announced that it is focusing on beverages this summer, offering an exclusive Gatorade Thirst Quencher in the flavor Lightning Blast, along with a deal on its lineup of Polar Pop and Froster offerings.

Circle K also announced that it will bring back Mtn Dew Purple Thunder for the third year in regular and zero sugar options.
