In celebration of Military Appreciation Month in May, Pilot is giving service members free drinks and snacks through its myRewards Plus app.

Each week of the month will have different special offers. The weekly deals include:

  • April 29-May 5: Free Pop-Tart
  • May 6-May 12: Free 16-ounce C4 energy drink
  • May 13-May 19: Free slice of pizza
  • May 20-May 26: Free Quest item
  • May 27-June 2: Free king size M&Ms
  • Monthly: Free fountain drink

Pilot also offers a 10% military discount on food and beverages to service members and veterans. In support of military service members and veterans, Pilot Company and its guests have raised over $3 million in donations for the Call of Duty Endowment since 2019, resulting in more than 5,500 veterans finding post-military careers.

Yesway also honored Military Appreciation Month with a $100,000 donation to Operation Homefront to support military personnel and first responders, and is encouraging customers to donate through in-store purchases or Smile Rewards donations at any of Yesway’s 435 locations.

The retailer will donate 10 cents to Operation Homefront for every purchase of a Body Armor 28-ounce or one-liter beverage, or any Yesway or Allsup’s private-label brand salty snack. Yesway and Allsup’s Rewards Members can also contribute by redeeming loyalty points through the rewards app.

RaceTrac also announced deals for Teacher Appreciation week, held May 6-10. This week, teachers and school staff will be able to get a free coffee per transaction using their school ID. The retailer is also partnering with select school districts to give away thousands of dollars in prizes and fuel cards, with each district determining how to best distribute the awards to deserving teachers. This year's partners include districts in Cobb County, Georgia; Dallas and Plano, Texas; Hillsborough County, Florida; and Orange County, Florida.

“Teachers are the backbone of every community, and we want to make sure they know it,” said Melanie Isbill, chief brand officer at RaceTrac. “As we approach the end of the 2024 school year, we encourage all school staff to visit their local RaceTrac for a well-deserved coffee break on us.”
